Time to smell the rhododendron

We took advantage of our few days of false spring in Portland by spending as much time as possible in the sun. As a sidenote, Isaac has entered the "why?" phase. Heaven help me.

Isaac was thrilled to tour a middle school music room courtesy of our friends Larry and Jamie. He liked a lot of the instruments, but was most taken with the drums. I think we are in trouble...

A Visit to Santa

We took Isaac to see Santa, and while Ry and I had a hard time getting past the fake beard, Isaac was intrigued.

This is as close as Isaac got, which seems prudent given he was approaching a strange man in faux fur and questionable studded straps.

Isaac felt compelled to tell Santa that one of his reindeer has a red nose.

"Is this guy for real???"

Isaac finally got down to the task at hand - he told Santa his wish list which included a drum, banjo, saxophone, piano and a truck. We are going to need a bigger house.
